It’s no secret: All over the country, guards regularly pee their pants about arresting people, as they lack the permission to apply the forces of their dreams.

But do they?

In the town of Guardlway, the officers’ trousers carry a conspicuously fresh fragrance - an almost floury scent... In addition, another phenomenon is noticeable all over town: Happy criminals, laughing their ass of in the face of an arrest. Sometimes, they die of laughter. Literally.

Alarmed by the dead funny death of their leader Grumpy Grace, a group of not quite law-abiding citizens uncovered a secret:

The cops cook & use LAUGH, a drug that causes laughing flashes and makes it easy to catch subjects. Spray, laugh, arrest!

The Grumpy Grace Group however managed to create their own version of Laugh. It makes cops cry themselves to sleep with tears of joy.

Both recipes require POPCORN as an ingredient, plus a plant-based component (GRASS for the cops, and CLOVER for the grumpy group) which need to be obtained to make the drugs.

As we all know, Popcorn is scarce these days, and only one team will get to apply Laugh successfully 5 times.

But beware: Things can go wrong when Laugh is used. In the best case, you get rid of an opponent and can celebrate an added Laugh on the laugh-o-meter. 
The intensity of Laugh’s effect however varies, and you might end up with a weed in your mix that has no effect. On the contrary, it might be too strong, and that would be no laughing matter in the end, as you’d overdose and kill the recipient.

On top of that, Guardlway is separated by a river into the shiny side, where the Gardaí dictate the rules, and the grungy side, with the Grumpy Group’s laws in effect. If you happen to meet the wrong person in the wrong place, grin and bear it: You’ll lose your precious resources to them.
